Direct Hire. Pay Rate: $31.73 - $41.34 / hour.

Duties:

• Schedules and supervises internal maintenance craftspeople or outside contractors in the execution of preventive, predictive, corrective, project, and breakdown maintenance.
• Analyzes equipment failures and ensures appropriate "permanent fix" is put in place.
• Utilizes judgment to determine priorities for maintenance work requests and work with requestors and area managers to ensure work is planned appropriately.
• Identifies, prioritizes, and helps coordinate or deliver maintenance training in their area of responsibility.
• Provides troubleshooting assistance to the maintenance skilled trades when needed.
• Audits maintenance work to ensure good practices are being maintained and standards are achieved.
• Reviews area maintenance costs and control them within budget allowance, and improve costs in their area in accordance with the MCIP program.
• Conducts maintenance employee appraisals and addresses maintenance performance issues.
• Supervises between 20 and 30 hourly or NE maintenance personnel.
• Candidate controls an area maintenance budget of $500K-$2.0M and affects property valued at approximately $10M -$15M.
• Works closely with the Operations Supervisor and other Maintenance Supervisors.
• Receives significant direction and training from the Maintenance Manager and/or Senior Maintenance Supervisor.

Position Requirements:

• 2-year technical degree OR 2-4 years of suitable level of maintenance leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Knowledge and experience with pneumatic valves, hydraulic systems, motors, control systems, and various sensing devices.
