Position: Support Services Maintenance/ Construction Technician (Statewide)

COO - Administration

Maintenance/Construction Technician I (S)

Salary Range - $31,200 - $53,812 Salary Grade NC 03

This job requires heavy physical work. You must be able to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs continuously. Work may take place outdoors in all weather conditions.

Candidates who possess the following skills are preferred:

  • Documented experience applying knowledge of methods, practices, and materials used in general building, equipment, and machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Experience using tools and power equipment required for work across multiple technically complex trades.

  • Raleigh Regional Maintenance Yard, Raleigh, NC
  • Coastal Regional Maintenance Yard, Greenville, NC
  • Piedmont Regional Maintenance Yard, Asheboro, NC
  • Mountain Regional Maintenance Yard, Lenoir, NC

Please note all positions may require travel throughout the region they support.

Veterans' and National Guard Preference
