Job Summary

Position:
Housekeeper (Full‑time and Part‑time)

Location:

UK King’s Daughters Ambulatory – 2201 Lexington Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Flexible full‑time and part‑time shifts, including second shifts. Hours and days may vary; details discussed during interview.

Pay: $13.00 per hour (fixed).

Requirement:
Prior housekeeping experience required.

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans washbasins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries and requests.
• Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contribute to team efforts; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
