As a housekeeper, you will receive daily worksheets indicating the floors and rooms needing attention. Your primary duties will include sanitization, trash removal, and bathroom cleaning. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in other areas such as the nursing station.
Responsibilities- 1st Shift: Primarily responsible for in-patient/occupied room cleaning.
- Maintain a friendly demeanor while cleaning occupied rooms.
- Sanitize personal areas, remove trash, and clean bathrooms.
- 2nd Shift: Focus on 'discharge rooms,' cleaning entire unoccupied rooms to prepare them for new patients.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take directions.
- Ability to handle various levels of cleaning.
- Strong customer service skills.

Work EnvironmentThe role is set within a hospital environment, requiring thorough cleaning. Uniform includes a black shirt (without lettering), black loose pants (no leggings or jeans), and non-slip shoes. A uniform will be provided after 30 days.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
