Custodial Maintenance Specialist

Appleseed Community Mental Health Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodial Maintenance Specialist. This full-time position works Monday through Friday 6:30am - 3pm. The Custodial Maintenance Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks & assisting in maintenance tasks to ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

Responsibilities:

• Perform custodial cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Clean and restock restrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the buildings, including entrances and hallways.
• Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and supply closets.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assists in maintenance and facility upkeep tasks, including lawn care, snow removal, and other maintenance duties as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks, including bending, moving/lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations.
• Successful completion of background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
