Facilities Custodian

Ravenwood Health is hiring a part‑time Facilities Custodian to join our growing team.

Facilities Custodian is a part‑time, non‑exempt position, working evening hours in our Ashtabula location and involves the performance of general janitorial services associated with operating a multi‑agency building.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms daily
• Empty and clean trash receptacles and waste baskets daily
• Sweep, vacuum, and/or mop floors daily
• Clean glass doors daily and windows as needed
• Wash walls, clean and dust work areas, polish furniture and fixtures
• Remove, clean and re‑hang Venetian blinds and drapes as needed
• Report need for equipment repair, evidence of fire, illegal entry and/or theft of property
• Check supplies and notify supervisor of need to replenish
• Secure the building at the end of shift
• Maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers and make every attempt to resolve work‑related difficulties with the co‑worker in a timely fashion
• Communicate all concerns and questions regarding the building and equipment to the Director of Operations or the CEO
• Maintain current knowledge of all applicable CCC policies and procedures and function according to these standards
• Be knowledgeable of and adhere to all pertinent federal, state, and local laws, standards of the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, CARF Accreditation Standards, and appropriate professional ethical standards
• Perform other assigned and related duties specific and customary to the department in which they are assigned

• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently
• Candidates are required to walk, stand, bend and lift (up to 50 pounds)
• Must be able to pass an FBI/BCI background check and TB test
