Engineer, HVAC Tech ​/ Heating Engineer

Engineer I - Facilities & Maintenance at Marriott supports reliable, efficient hotel operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This entry-level role performs routine and emergency maintenance on guest rooms, public spaces, and building systems, including basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment. The Engineer I executes preventive maintenance, responds promptly to work orders, and documents tasks in our maintenance system.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on hotel mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance rounds, document work in CMMS, and support energy-efficient building performance.
• Assist with guest room and public-area repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and high service standards.
• Collaborate with Facilities leadership and vendors on inspections, repairs, and small projects while following Marriott safety and brand standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, communicate effectively with hotel teams, and support a clean, well-maintained environment.
