We're looking for a formally trained, highly experienced Automotive Technician to join our team.
This is NOT a flat-rate role - we don't push for volume; for us, quality matters more than quotas, and we want our technicians to take pride in their craft.

What We’re Looking For:

Technical

Skills:
  • Formal automotive training - e.g., Automotive Technology degree, vocational program completion, and/or factory/dealership training & experience

- and/or -

  • ASE certifications - Master-level or individual certs, plus willingness to earn/renew
Experience:
  • Master-level / “A-Tech” experience & skills
    - able to diagnose and repair most vehicle systems independently
  • 10+ years of professional tech experience is ideal - however, if you have fewer years but have strong or varied formal education, training, certifications, and/or experience, we invite you to apply.
Soft Skills:
  • Approachable, open-minded, and collaborative
    ; we are a small team and want someone who fits the culture we're building
  • Commitment to delivering the highest quality of work rather than the highest volume
  • Willingness to take personal accountability when something goes wrong so we can make it right together
  • Flexible, solution-oriented mindset – we value creative problem-solving and sharing knowledge

Preferred but not required:
  • Factory-level certifications with one or more manufacturers
Compensation & Work-Life Balance:
  • Hourly Pay
    : $30-$50 DOE – true hourly, no flat-rate
  • Flexible Work Schedule
    :
    Full-time, 4 or 5 day work week available
  • No Weekends or Holidays

    Required:

    but open to accommodating if you prefer
  • PTO: Start accruing at 90 days; full-time employees earn up to 2 weeks by the end of your first year working with us
  • Paid Holidays: After 90 days of working with us, paid holidays available if the holiday falls on a usual scheduled work day (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day)
Perks & Benefits (after completion of satisfactory probationary period):
  • Education Support: Paid ASE certs/renewals + continuing ed opportunities after satisfactory probationary period
  • Uniforms & Boots: We currently work in a casual environment with shop-branded t-shirts & hoodies, which would be provided to you. After probationary period, stipend for uniforms available if preferred, plus a separate stipend for work boots.
  • Tools: After probationary period, $75/month stipend or accrue up to $900 over your first year.
  • Healthcare
    :
    We’re actively evaluating quality, affordable medical/dental/vision plans to make available after probationary period; however, no current healthcare coverage option is secured - stipend towards private healthcare plans may be available after probationary period.
  • Retirement: Available with employer contributions after probationary period
