JOB SUMMARY
Keeps the facility in a clean, safe, and orderly manner using accepted facility housekeeping practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for working hours as scheduled.
• Following cleaning schedule as posted by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Cleaning resident rooms; change linens, dust, sweep, mop, empty trash and pick up items.
• Thoroughly cleaning tub rooms and public restrooms; replacing soap, tissue, and towels as needed.
• Cleaning windows, dusting all surfaces, and emptying trash containesr in all areas.
• Cleaning and disinfecting all vacated rooms.
• Cleaning and disinfecting floors in all areas.
• Keeps facility free from odors, pests, and rubbish.
• Perform basic inspection to identify minor or major maintenance requirements and take appropriate action.
• Using and maintaining equipment, cart, and supplies in a proper manner.
• Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur.
• Follow policies and procedures for infection control practices and operate equipment correctly to prevent accidents.
• Complete Medicalodges, Inc, state and federal required training.
• Participate and follow safety instructions for disaster and emergency preparedness, including but not limited to fire drills.
• Follow Medicalodges policies and procedures, including compliance & code of ethics & conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
• Ability to follow procedures
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products
• Self motivated
