Building Services Worker

Position Summary

The Building Services Worker cleans, sanitizes, and maintains the appearance of Athletic Facilities. The role requires discretion when utilizing and maintaining assigned spaces.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Preferred qualifications information was not provided.

• Knowledgeable of cleaning materials.
• Ability to operate vacuum cleaners and shampoo machine.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.

• Stoop, squat, and bend.
• Climb ladders.
• Lift 25 lbs or more.
• Driving as needed to perform job duties.

• Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and wax floors (35% of time).
• Dust and clean chalk boards and offices.
• Wash windows, walls, trash cans and glass doors.
• Empty trash.
• Frequently works from a ladder.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Cleans and polishes brass.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies (20% of time).
• Operate polishing machine and vacuum cleaner (20% of time).
• Clean assigned team meeting and locker rooms (20% of time).
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor (5% of time).
