Part-time Parks Crew Member

Class Summary

This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits.

This part‑time Parks Crew Member position will maintain the park system’s safety and cleanliness for public use, provide customer service assistance, perform janitorial duties, conduct routine inspections of grounds, and collect litter while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

• Interacting with the public during pavilion rentals
• Overseeing pavilion rentals
• Providing restroom upkeep and maintenance
• Conducting park safety checks and general park inspections
• Assisting Youth Athletic Associations
• Preparing incident reports as needed
• Performing end‑of‑day facility lock‑up and alarm set‑up
• Providing equipment preventative maintenance
• Performing landscaping duties as needed
• Performing other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned
• Interacting with Youth Athletic Associations and pavilion/facility customers

• This job may require on‑call rotation and emergency service after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.

Hourly rate will be $16.80.

• Candidate must be 16 years of age.
• General experience in customer service, janitorial services, and/or grounds maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License.
