As a Facilities Project Coordinator with the Building Construction Products (BCP) division in Athens, GA you will work independently and on teams to perform duties to maintain and improve engineering processes in an operations environment. This position is in the Athens Facilities Department and a 1st shift role.
What you can look forward to doing in this role- Track, evaluate and maintain records for contractors coming on site to keep us compliant with Avetta standards
- Help with on boarding suppliers in the Avetta system
- Perform pre, during and post assessments of work standards using the EHS handbook as a guide.
- Will lead projects for the facility department including planning, purchasing and quality assurance for projects
- Experience in Next Gen/Guided by
- Must have advanced proficiency (Can train others) in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Project, etc.)
- Must have 1 year of experience leading projects in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of plant layouts/ability to read blueprints is a plus
- Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
- Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Some weekends will be Mandatory
- Must have the ability to run or learn to run heavy equipment
- 1 to 3 years of industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, project, or related technical experience. Can include internship, co-op, apprentices, military service, or similar programs.
- Strong Project Management Skills
- AutoCAD proficiency
- SAP Experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain engineering drawings.
- Experience running large capital projects.
- Understanding of shop operations and maintenance procedures as well as previous experience in a particular discipline.
- Able to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate and have basic knowledge of functions performed by the skilled-trades personnel.

Summary Pay Range$28.05 - $35.09
