JOB TITLE:

Outage Superintendent

We are seeking a skilled, safety-oriented Boilermaker with specialized experience in expansion joint installation and air heater basket change-outs. In this role, you will be responsible for executing critical maintenance, repair, and replacement procedures on heavy industrial boiler systems and ductwork.

GENERAL DUTIES:

Provides direction to Craft employees to meet Safety Goals, Quality requirements, Cost, Schedule, and design requirements.
Coordinates job planning, work methods, subcontractors, equipment usage and rentals, and procurement of supplies and tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

In General

1. Responsible for ensuring crew/team compliance to the DZ Safety Program and Quality Program.

2. Responsible for conducting all work within guidelines, policies, and ethical standards established by the company. Maintains all business records and reports properly and honestly, to protect company and client assets. Evaluates subordinates based on their commitment to the Codes of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct and acts as a role model.

3. Personally engages in field walkdowns of planned and ongoing Craft and Construction activities. Performs inspection of work in progress to assess status and resolve problems firsthand.

4. Keeps Project Superintendent informed of changing field conditions and work progress.

5. Monitors scope, scopes changes, budgets and schedules to ensure work objectives are met.

6. Continually strives for better and more economical methods of performing the work.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $88,000.00- $. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, scheduler type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
