Manager, Facilities Operations & Engineering

We are more than a health system. We are a belief system. We believe wellness and sickness are both part of a lifelong partnership, and that everyone could use an expert guide. We work hard, care deeply and reach further to help people uncover their own power to be healthy. We inspire hope. We learn, grow, and achieve more – in our careers and in our communities.

The Manager, Facilities Operations & Engineering is a front-line operations leader responsible for the safe, compliant, and cost-effective performance of all assigned healthcare facility engineering systems and maintenance disciplines — including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, mechanical systems, carpentry, and grounds — across assigned hospital and ambulatory care locations on a 24/7 basis. This position leads a team of skilled trades professionals and maintenance technicians, ensuring that all building systems, life safety infrastructure, and physical plant operations meet or exceed standards set by The Joint Commission (TJC), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), and all applicable state and local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).

The Manager develops preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manages the CMMS work-order pipeline, owns the area operating budget, and serves as the operational partner for capital construction and equipment replacement projects within assigned areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities and duties include overseeing daily job performance of associates, managing operational budgets, developing and maintaining detailed management plans for facilities maintenance and operation activities, and participating in capital construction, improvement, and replacement programs.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a driver's license.

Join us if your passion is to work in a caring environment, if you believe that learning is a life-long process, if you strive for excellence and want to be among the best in the healthcare industry.
