• UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit, radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.

li>Assists skilled maintenance workers.
• May perform simple repairs on electrical equipment and machinery or minor repairs to the facilities including painting, plastering, carpentry and plumbing.
• Effectively communicates with personnel of other departments, medical staff, patients and co-employees while performing duties and with suppliers to purchase materials.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of general maintenance or building maintenance experience.
