Accountant Junior

Job Description – Junior Accountant

Location:

Atlanta, US

• Support general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor open items
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and internal documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Collaborating with cross-functional and international Finance teams

• Understanding of basic internal controls and accounting process
• Authorization to work in the US
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Up to 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems considered a plus
• Prior experience in a multinational or shared services environment
• Italian language skills considered a plus

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural setting

• Hands on exposure to the full accounting cycle
• Experience working with international finance teams
• Collaborative, team-oriented Accounting & Tax function
• Interaction with both US based and international stakeholders
• Supportive environment with training and mentoring from senior team members

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Adhere to ethical Accounting standards
