Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a growing outsourced bookkeeping services firm that is adding a Remote Accounting Manager to its team.

This role offers the opportunity to lead client accounting relationships, oversee day-to-day bookkeeping operations, and mentor staff—all in a fully remote environment
. Candidates must currently live in the state of Georgia 🍑, as this is a firm requirement for the role.

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts across multiple industries
• Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Review and approve bookkeeping work prepared by staff accountants and bookkeepers
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, answering accounting and financial questions
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting
• Assist with process improvements, workflow management, and internal controls
• Support and mentor junior team members within the bookkeeping team
• Collaborate with leadership on client onboarding and service delivery

• 💵 Salary up to $100,000

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 🧾 Prior experience within an outsourced bookkeeping or client services accounting firm strongly preferred

  CPA preferred (active or inactive)
• 📈 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or review responsibilities
• 📚 Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting
• 🧠 Experience managing multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities
• 💬 Excellent communication skills and a client-service mindset
• 💻 Proficiency with common accounting software and cloud-based tools
