Fixed Asset Accounting Manager
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a global organization headquartered in Atlanta for an experienced and strategic Fixed Asset Accounting Manager. OverviewThe Fixed Asset Accounting Manager will lead a team of accounting professionals and oversee all aspects of fixed asset accounting. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate depreciation, asset capitalization, month‑end close processes, audit support, internal controls, reconciliations, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives related to fixed assets. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, cross‑functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to driving efficiency and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop a team of Fixed Asset Accountants
- Oversee depreciation calculations and asset capitalization processes
- Asset utilization analysis
- Manage month‑end close activities related to fixed assets
- Ensure accuracy of reconciliations and financial reporting
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, and other departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of a Fixed Asset Accounting team
- CPA or CMA strongly preferred
- Experience in a large, complex organization preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems and fixed asset accounting software - Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross‑functionally
