Position Overview
Exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to work in a fast paced, growing firm with locations in Atlanta, Georgia, Bedford, New Hampshire and Summerville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting with expertise in maintaining accurate books and records for clients. As a key member of our team, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for reconciling bank/credit card/cash/loan accounts for multiple clients, reviewing reconciliations, processing payroll and communicating directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions for clients in Quick Books online or Quick Books desktop
- Bank, credit card and general ledger account reconciliations
- Processing Payroll in Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online
- Payroll Filings: monthly, quarterly and annual federal and state remittances
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts and other information
- Prepare work papers and coordinate tax filing with tax preparer/CPA
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles with at least eight years of bookkeeping experience
- Extensive experience with accounting software with a strong preference for Quickbooks
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Attention to detail along with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare, review and understand financial statements and documents
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- Must have exceptional organizational skills and a self-starter
