Job Title: Accounting Analyst (Accounts Payable)

Location: Sandy Springs, GA

Compensation: $52,000/year

Vaco is assisting a growing Atlanta? based client seeking an entry level Accounting Analyst (Accounts Payable), and the role centers on accurate invoice processing, vendor coordination, and accounting support. The Accounting Analyst manages all invoice coding and submission, ensures invoices are properly accrued, and supports vendor and internal customer issue resolution. The role also posts journal entries and contributes to month?

end close activities.

• Code and process invoices accurately and on time.
• Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Post journal entries and prepare month? end accrual entries.
• Coordinate with FP&A to ensure correct coding for new payments.
• Maintain recurring payment logs and ensure vendors are paid within terms.
• Review purchase order coding for correct accounting treatment (prepaids, fixed assets).
• Manage vendor correspondence and reconcile vendor statements.

• Accounting degree (Bachelor's or 3-5 years of working experience in accounting).
• GAAP proficiency.
• Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas
• Detail? oriented with strong time? management abilities.
• Experience Accounts Payable in vendor relations and invoice processing.
