Senior Accountant - Atlanta - A hybrid work schedule is available! $80-110k

Well known professional services organization is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their growing team!

Prior/current public accounting or large corporate industry experience is preferred.

Your Responsibilities:

• Month-end close procedures including journal entries and reconciliation of other assigned general ledger accounts.

• Maintain accurate and organized files of payments and cash reconciliations.

• Preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for the company.

• Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and GAAP reporting guidelines.

• Confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements.

• Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting.

• May serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

3-6 years of accounting or other related fields

Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
