Salary

$60,000–$70,000 base

This Staff Accountant opportunity is with a growing organization in Atlanta that supports project-based business operations. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue recognition while partnering with internal teams to support accurate financial reporting.

As the Staff Accountant, you will:

• Manage billing processes and support revenue recognition activities

• Handle accounts receivable and assist with collections and billing schedules

• Support accounts payable processing and expense management

• Review project-related expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and statements of work

• Assist with financial reporting and revenue tracking

• Use Excel to analyze financial data and support reporting

Ideal candidates for this Staff Accountant role will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals

• 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply

• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

• Ability to think critically, stay organized, and work in a collaborative environment
