STV is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days per week in office) and can be located in one of the following offices:
Atlanta, GA
, Douglassville, PA
, Philadelphia, PA
, or Charlotte, NC
. Note that there will be periodic travel to our Douglassville office as needed.
- Support the company's income tax process, including preparation of financial information for external service providers
- Prepare and/or review federal and multistate income and franchise tax returns
- Coordinate timely tax payments to various income tax authorities
- Maintain, review, and reconcile tax accounts, and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Prepare various indirect tax returns, such as sales and use, personal property, business licenses and other tax filings
- Conduct technical research to address tax issues
- Support company tax audits, respond to tax notices, and facilitate timely resolution of other tax matters under guidance of the Sr. Tax Manager
- Serve as a resource for tax department management, assisting with day-to-day issues and inquiries arising from all company areas
- Complete other special projects as assigned
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, and a minimum of 6 years' work experience as a corporate accountant or 3 years' experience in public accounting
- Active CPA license in your work state required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet highly detailed reporting requirements
- Effective prioritization and multitasking skills, especially under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office suite products
$71,981.92 - $95,975.90
