Senior Accountant

A rapidly growing technology company in the digital entertainment sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its expanding finance organization. This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the close process, and helping scale accounting operations as the business continues to grow.

• Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reporting
• Support the transition of accounting processes in-house and contribute to building scalable accounting operations
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
• Partner with finance leadership to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and reporting cycles
• Assist with ERP and financial system implementation initiatives
• Collaborate with operations and product teams to ensure appropriate accounting treatment for new initiatives
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve financial processes
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
