Senior Accountant

Accountants One is working with an exciting, growing company in the Atlanta metro area that is looking for a Senior Accountant. This role will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the financial records, enhancing accounting processes, and supporting informed, strategic decision-making.

• Compile and evaluate financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Manage the close cycle to ensure reporting deadlines are met with accuracy
• Own general ledger activity, ensuring transactions are properly coded and documented
• Reconcile revenue activity to cash collections on a recurring monthly basis
• Validate revenue recognition by reconciling fulfillment data to customer sales orders
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, inventory, and accrued liabilities
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal guidelines
• Provide audit and tax support by preparing schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, accuracy, and operational efficiency
• Assist with establishing and maintaining internal control procedures and accounting standards
• Produce cash burn and liquidity analyses twice per month
• Oversee daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely processing
• Support inventory valuation, cost tracking, and revenue-related analysis
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable financial insights
• Leverage and enhance ERP and accounting systems (Net Suite preferred)
• Support automation efforts to improve scalability and streamline accounting processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification strongly preferred
• Minimum of four years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a fast-growing startup, consumer tech, or e-commerce organization
• Prior public accounting background
• Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and advanced Excel capabilities
