Senior Accounting Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 4 days in office)

Reports Into: Controller

• The company’s projects deliver low-cost clean electricity to local communities by leveraging existing grid infrastructure, expanding access to renewable energy while supporting the broader energy transition.

• The Accounting team is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager to support the continued growth of the platform and strengthen the company’s corporate accounting function.
• This role will sit within the corporate accounting team and focus on financial statement review, the close process, and supporting technical accounting matters across a complex multi-entity platform. The position will work closely with the Controller and broader accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting the development of accounting policies and processes as the organization scales.
• This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and offers a clear path for growth into Director-level responsibilities as the company continues to expand.

• Oversee the financial statement preparation and review process across multiple entities
• Support the monthly and quarterly close process within the corporate accounting team
• Research and evaluate technical accounting matters and assist with policy documentation
• Review accounting treatment for debt facilities, leases, and other corporate transactions
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency

• 5–7+ years of accounting experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or a related environment
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Experience supporting month-end close and multi-entity accounting environments
• Exposure to technical accounting research or accounting policy development
• CPA required
• Experience in renewable energy, energy, infrastructure, real estate, or other asset-heavy industries preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
