Accounting Manager

LHH is partnering with a local Atlanta company to identify an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accurate, timely delivery of financial statements and analysis to senior leadership.

This role owns the full accounting lifecycle and plays a critical role in maintaining strong controls, scalable processes, and operational partnership across the business.

The Accounting Manager will oversee a small accounting team and work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Sales, and external partners to support reporting accuracy, system integrity, and business decision-making.

This position is expected to progress into a controller position.

• Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity within Net Suite
• Lead audit processes, maintain internal controls, and develop accounting policies and procedures as the business scales
• Manage procure-to-pay, accounts payable, inventory accounting, and related reconciliations across multiple locations
• Oversee order-to-cash processes, including revenue recognition, payment reconciliation, and sales tax compliance
• Partner cross-functionally on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis to support leadership decision-making

• Accounting or Finance Degree
• Master's in accounting highly desired
• CPA Required, CPA in progress may be considered
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience (preferred to have inventory experience)
