Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Overview

Our client, a well-established and fast-growing franchise organization, is seeking an Accountant to join their accounting team in a hybrid role based in Athens or Atlanta, GA
.

• Maintain accurate financial records for various business units
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
  , including marketing and coop budgets
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
  , ensuring timely payments and collections
• Provide payroll support in collaboration with the HR team
• Support franchise-level coop budgeting and financial tracking
• Assist with both front-end accounting (sales, inventory) and back-end processes (general ledger, reporting)

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

This is a hybrid position
, requiring time in both the Athens and Atlanta offices
. Some flexibility is offered, but collaboration and on-site engagement are key to success in this role.
