Curran Recruiting is actively engaged with a financial services company in Atlanta confidentially looking for a Director of Accounting to partner closely with the Controller. The role has exceptional visibility and great growth opportunity.
Here’s an overview of the role:- Manage the monthly and quarterly close process
- Support audits, reporting, and SEC/SOX compliance activities
- Aid with SEC reporting, technical accounting and accounting policy research
- Prepare reporting packages and variance analysis for leadership
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in line with GAAP
- Partner with FP&A and business leaders on budgeting and forecasting
- Help improve processes and drive efficiency across the accounting function
- Bachelors or Masters in Accounting
- CPA Required
- 6+ years of experience
- SEC reporting experience required
- Technical accounting or account policy research experience required
