Job Responsibilities- Supervise, plan, and perform audits, reviews, compilations, and various client engagements.
- Lead a team of up to five staff members under the supervision of a Manager and/or Partner.
- Prepare and review work papers, ensuring clarity, completeness, and accuracy.
- Exercise professional skepticism and evaluate audit evidence critically.
- Analyze financial statement data and draw logical conclusions.
- Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
- Identify, assess, and document controls and weaknesses in client accounting systems.
- Develop an understanding of client businesses related to assigned assurance areas.
- Apply the rules, regulations, and code of ethics of the AICPA, including FASB pronouncements and applicable state regulations.
- Understand and comply with the Firm’s quality‑control policy.
- Communicate effectively with engagement team members and client personnel in a professional, productive, and efficient manner.
- Provide timely feedback on staff work papers and aid in their development.
- Maintain informational updates to Managers and/or Partners regarding job status and assurance issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting in audit or assurance.
- Experience supervising audit staff professionals.
- Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- CPA license.
