Audit Senior Associate

• Supervise, plan, and perform audits, reviews, compilations, and various client engagements.
• Lead a team of up to five staff members under the supervision of a Manager and/or Partner.
• Prepare and review work papers, ensuring clarity, completeness, and accuracy.
• Exercise professional skepticism and evaluate audit evidence critically.
• Analyze financial statement data and draw logical conclusions.
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
• Identify, assess, and document controls and weaknesses in client accounting systems.
• Develop an understanding of client businesses related to assigned assurance areas.
• Apply the rules, regulations, and code of ethics of the AICPA, including FASB pronouncements and applicable state regulations.
• Understand and comply with the Firm’s quality‑control policy.
• Communicate effectively with engagement team members and client personnel in a professional, productive, and efficient manner.
• Provide timely feedback on staff work papers and aid in their development.
• Maintain informational updates to Managers and/or Partners regarding job status and assurance issues.

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting in audit or assurance.
• Experience supervising audit staff professionals.
• Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
