Accounts Receivable/ Collections, Accounting Assistant
As part of the Flood Brothers Team, the Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for the full cycle billing process. The A/R Rep will determine the profit margin for each project assigned, generate client invoices, as well as follow up on receivables.

- Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
- Maintains and updates customer records, including name or address changes, etc.
- Drafts correspondence for standard past‑due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment.
- Research customer discrepancies and past‑due amounts.
- Collaborates with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a biweekly basis.
- Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.

Work EnvironmentPosition holder generally works in an office environment. Will be required to visit different office locations with varying environments based on the nature of business.
Physical DemandsAbility to walk, speak, stand, and sit. Correctable hearing and sight to normal limits. Occasionally lifting of office supplies and other materials associated with the position up to 20 lbs.
Experience and Education Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred. - At least two years of related experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Starting at $26.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and internal equity.
