Assistant Director of Accounting

We're looking for a senior accounting leader who can walk in, assess the current state of our corporate accounting function with fresh eyes, make sound independent judgments, and build scalable processes. If you move quickly, ask the right questions, and act decisively, we want to meet you.

The Assistant Director of Corporate Accounting owns the full corporate accounting cycle s role is distinctly separate from our property management accounting team and reports directly to the Director of Accounting, with at least one direct report.

• Full corporate accounting cycle including AR/AP, invoicing, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across affiliated entities
• End-to-end payroll processing in Paylocity for ~60 employees (exempt and non-exempt)
• Corporate budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Project accounting for self-performed tenant improvement and capital improvement work
• Systems and process improvement across multiple business segments
• Billing for leased membership and event space.

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; multi-entity or corporate accounting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated payroll administration experience
• Experience with Yardi strongly preferred
• Prior construction/project accounting exposure (job costing, budget-to-actual) is a significant plus
• Commercial real estate background helpful but not required
• Strong analytical mindset with the confidence to draw independent conclusions and make judgment calls
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
