We are partnering with a well‑established, industry‑leading organization to identify a Senior Accountant
- Technical Accounting to join their corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys technical accounting, inventory analysis, and partnering cross‑functionally within a large, complex business environment.
This role offers strong visibility across the organization, exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities- Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting schedules
- Lead inventory reserve analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Perform technical accounting research and prepare documentation supporting accounting conclusions
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to evaluate accounting implications of new initiatives and operational changes
- Analyze financial data and trends, investigate variances, and recommend process improvements
- Assist with internal and external audit requests and related documentation
- Support implementation of controls tied to process improvements, system changes, and audit recommendations
- Serve as a key accounting resource for assigned areas and collaborate with stakeholders across the business
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Experience working in large or complex business environments preferred
- ERP experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
