Accounting Manager - Hybrid, Alpharetta-Area!

LHH (Atlanta) is excited to partner with a fast-growing company in the Alpharetta area on an Accounting Manager search. This is a great opportunity for a strong GL accounting Manager or Assistant Controller with experience supporting multi‑location operations and an interest in growing with a company that continues to scale.

• Lead and support the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close process
• Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Support financial reporting, variance analysis, and internal management reporting
• Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Partner with operations and finance leadership across multiple locations
• Support process improvements, internal controls, and accounting policy development
• Assist with audits, tax requests, and other compliance‑related matters
• Help improve and scale accounting processes in a growing organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month‑end close experience required
• Multi‑location experience required
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Public accounting and/or private equity‑backed company experience is a plus
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting team members preferred
• Strong Excel skills and systems aptitude
