BOS Staffing has partnered with a well respected mid-size accounting firm in Atlanta, GAin searching for an Audit Manager to lead quality control reviews and manage financial statement engagements across various industries. Our client is one of the leading full-service accounting firms in Georgia and has offices in Athens and Atlanta. - A Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA license
- 10+ years of experience in public accounting (preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting and auditing literature
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Robust organizational and time management skills
- Experience with Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager or Case Ware (a plus)
- Performing independent quality control reviews of audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Leading annual internal monitoring for quality control
- Coordinating external peer reviews every 3 years
- Maintaining and updating the firm's quality control document
- Staying current with the latest accounting and auditing guidance
- Planning, managing, and performing financial statement engagements
- Developing comprehensive understanding of client operations and business objectives
- Working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Maintaining open communication with the engagement team
- Developing client relationships through exceptional service
- Traveling to clients within the Atlanta Metro area (less than 20% travel)
