Accts Receivable Spec

Join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA, as we offer a hybrid role in the field of Accounts Receivables. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our company by managing and monitoring the amounts due to the company, ensuring prompt receipt of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Monitor records of amounts due and ensure prompt receipt of payments.
• Process and verify new client setup, client payments, and billing adjustments.
• Issue checks for over payments and process client refunds.
• Prepare and maintain accounts receivable registers and related accounting reports.
• Process client bills during month-end and review billing for accuracy.
• Handle client adjustments and post client payments.
• Follow up on billing discrepancies and contact clients regarding payment.
• Process client credit applications and enter data into the billing system.

• High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

This is a fully functioning support role with significant responsibility to perform most of the standard work within the function, having a moderate impact on the department.

• Effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them in straightforward situations.
• Refer complex or unusual problems to a supervisor or manager.
• Operate under general supervision, exercising some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques.
• Regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor/manager.

Demonstrates basic knowledge of a technical or specialty area and readily learns and applies new information/concepts in the area of practice.
