Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project financial data including job costing, progress billings, and project activity review
- Prepare and issue accurate progress billings, while also compiling supporting documentation
- Reconcile billings including labor and non-labor inputs
- Partner with Project Managers to resolve billing issues and delays
- Ensure accurate job costs and adjustments
- Track job costs vs budget and analyze variances
- Review contracts, change orders, and maintain compliance
- Prepare and maintain WIP schedules and reporting around project data
- Monitor cash flow and ensure funding for obligations
- Support audit requests with documentation
- Provide financial guidance to project teams
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience (construction preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail and organization
- Advanced Excel skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
