We’re currently looking for a Senior Technical Accountant to join our Accounting Advisory team in any DLA office (hybrid). If you're ready to take on high-impact client projects and grow your career in a collaborative, entrepreneurial advisory firm, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll DoYou’ll work on high-visibility accounting and advisory projects that help clients strengthen reporting, improve processes, and navigate complex accounting matters. Your day-to-day may include:
Supporting accounting advisory engagements across a range of industries
Researching and advising on technical accounting topics (GAAP, financial reporting, SEC matters)
Assisting with financial statement preparation, disclosures, and audit readiness
Supporting internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives
Preparing clear, client-ready technical memos, analyses, and presentations
Collaborating with client stakeholders and internal teams to resolve accounting issues
What You’ll BringWe know strong candidates come from diverse backgrounds. Typical qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Approximately 3+ years of accounting, audit, or advisory experience
Public accounting experience (Top 15 firm preferred; Big 4 a plus)
CPA license or progress toward certification preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting research
Experience with SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, or internal controls/SOX a plus
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused mindset
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and common financial reporting tools
