SVP of Accounting

Build the Function. Lead the Team. Partner with the CFO. SVP / Head of Accounting (Controller) | Atlanta (Hybrid)

High-growth, PE‑backed company seeking a hands‑on, high‑impact accounting leader to scale and lead the function.

• Own all accounting, reporting, and controls
• Lead a multi‑layered team (incl. controllers)
• Oversee construction/project accounting (WIP, % complete)
• Partner with execs on growth and strategy
• Drive systems, process, and scalability improvements

• CPA (required)
• Construction accounting (required)
• Proven Controller leadership experience
• Strong U.S. GAAP + process improvement track record

• Direct CFO exposure

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
