The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the timely, accurate, and complete processing of vendor invoices across construction, operations, and corporate entities. This role serves as a primary point of contact for invoice intake and is responsible for ensuring invoices are properly entered, supported, coded, routed, and maintained within Net Suite, Coupa, and Procore. The Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with Cost Managers, Project Managers, Procurement, Accounting, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and support accurate project cost reporting and timely payments.
Requirements- 2–5+ years’ experience in construction cost control and/or project accounting/ Accounts Payable
- Experince with Procore or similar tools
- Experience with large-scale construction projects preferred or previous data center, Net Suite, or Intacct experience is a plus
- Two or more years of accounts payable, accounting, or related transaction-processing experience
- Experience processing a high volume of invoices in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, purchase-order matching, vendor credits, payment applications, and vendor statement reconciliation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a large volume of transactions
- Demonstrated ability to research issues and follow them through resolution
