MAU is hiring an Accountant for our client in Atlanta, GA. As an Accountant
, you will support the corporate accounting team by performing General Ledger accounting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and financial reporting support.
This is a long-term renewable contract opportunity.

- Additional flexibility may be needed during month-end close
Education and Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Active CPA license
- Approximately 2–5+ years of accounting experience

- Corporate accounting experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced accounting environment
- Hands-on month-end close experience
- Cash accounting and Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Prepare journal entries to support the month-end close process.
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations.
- Support cash accounting and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Account for prepaid expenses and miscellaneous expense accounts.
- Research account variances and prepare financial analyses.
- Assist with financial reporting and close support schedules.
- Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support additional accounting projects and responsibilities as needed.
