Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Legal Billing Specialist manages electronic billing for legal clients, including onboarding new clients, submitting invoices, resolving billing issues, and ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines. This role partners closely with internal teams and clients to optimize billing processes and maximize invoice recovery.
Candidates must be local to Atlanta, GA.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:- Onboard clients to eBilling platforms and maintain billing setups.
- Submit electronic invoices accurately and on time.
- Resolve invoice rejections, reductions, and billing discrepancies.
- Maintain client billing guidelines, vendor portals, accruals, and budgets.
- Generate billing reports and monitor invoice status.
- Collaborate with attorneys, billing teams, and clients to support successful invoice processing.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and client requirements.
- 2+ years of legal billing/eBilling experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Experience with eBilling platforms such as Legal Tracker, Counsel Link, Billing Point, Tymetrix, or similar.
- Experience with Aderant, Elite, or eBilling
Hub preferred. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT is a plus.
