We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. This hybrid position allows you to leverage your skills and experience in a flexible work environment, splitting your time between working remotely and in the office. You will be a vital part of our Accounting and Finance industry team, providing critical tax services to our high net worth clients.

Responsibilities

Preparation and review of complex corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with state and federal tax law.

Managing tax provisions for S corporations, including calculating and documenting income and deductions.

Providing comprehensive tax services to high net worth individuals and ultra‑high net worth clients, including the preparation and review of form 1040.

Offering expert advice on trust and estate tax matters, helping clients navigate the complexities of estate planning and wealth transfer.

Identifying tax planning opportunities and potential tax issues, providing innovative solutions to minimize tax liabilities and risks.

Keeping up‑to‑date with the latest tax laws and regulations, ensuring our clients receive the most current and accurate advice.

Collaborating with other team members and departments to provide a seamless and integrated service to our clients.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA designation is highly desirable.

A minimum of 1 years of experience in a tax accountant role, preferably in a public accounting firm or a similar environment.

Proven experience working with corporate tax returns, S Corp, form 1040, trust and estate tax, and high net worth individuals.

A deep understanding of tax codes, compliance, and procedures at the federal and state level.

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.

High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
