Staff Accountant - Bilingual Spanish

Responsibilities

• Process customer sales credit memos and re-invoices
• Processes Inventory Adjustments
• Maintains General Ledger accounts analyses
• Maintains the Fixed Assets Analysis
• Reconciles Bank Accounts
• Performs monthly reconciliation of inventory
• Processes and provide details to Controller for Month End Journal Entries
• Assist with Annual Property and Sales tax filings
• Assist with research, analysis, and review of monthly financial information submitted from Mexico office.
• Coordinate with accounts payable and account management to resolve issues and develop solutions
• Provide analytical and accounting support to month-end closing process and ensure ongoing integrity of balance sheet and income statement accounts

Qualifications:

• Bilingual:
  English and Spanish
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or in Business with an emphasis in Accounting
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with EXCEL
