Accounting Manager
We're partnering with a rapidly growing company in Atlanta seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead a team and drive excellence across the accounting function. This is a hybrid role offering strong visibility, leadership exposure, and the opportunity to make a direct impact.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and mentor a staff
- Oversee daily cash reconciliations and ensure accuracy
- Partner with the broader accounting and finance teams to support an efficient and timely month-end close
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial analyses
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and support scaling
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of general accounting experience (public or corporate)
- 3+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliation review, and GAAP principles
- Proficient in Excel and ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite, Great Plains, SAP)
