  Assist with the monthly accounting close process and the entity’s general ledger management.

  Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

  Develop efficient procedures and effective use of resources while ensuring a high level of accuracy.
• [Policy]:
  Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for accounting activities and functions.
• [Reconciliation]:
  Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare necessary account reconciliations.

• Background:
  Early-Level professional with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
• Experience:
  
  1+ years’ experience in general accounting; skilled with process improvement, including automating accounting steps to create efficiencies.
• Skills:
  
  Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting rules, regulations, policies, and internal controls; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
