• Mission:
  This person will be responsible for supporting the monthly accounting close, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring financial reporting accuracy and process efficiency.

• General Ledger Management:
  Actively assist with the comprehensive monthly accounting close process, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and maintaining the integrity of the entity’s general ledger. This involves precise data entry and verification to support financial statement generation.
• Financial Reporting Comprehension:
  Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting landscape and the intricacies of the general ledger structure. This insight will be critical for accurate reporting and effective communication of financial data across the organization.
• Process Efficiency & Policy:
  Take a proactive role in developing and implementing efficient accounting procedures. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement, optimizing the use of available resources, and assisting in the formulation of policies for various accounting activities and functions, all while upholding a high standard of accuracy.
• Audit & Account Integrity:
  Provide essential assistance during the annual audit process by compiling and submitting all requested financial information and documentation in a timely manner. Additionally, perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, meticulously preparing all necessary account reconciliation reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Treasury & Inventory Controls:
  Monitor the company’s daily cash position and execute various treasury functions to maintain liquidity and financial stability. This responsibility also extends to inventory management, ensuring proper accounting and control over company assets from acquisition to disposition.

• Background:
  Bachelor Degree, Entry-Level. Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree specifically in Accounting. This foundational educational background is essential for understanding core accounting principles. Furthermore, a strong and demonstrable knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is critical, alongside a comprehensive understanding of relevant accounting rules, regulations, company policies, and robust internal controls.
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of one (1) year of experience in general accounting is a prerequisite for this role. Key experience should include a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements, with a particular focus on automating accounting steps to create significant efficiencies and streamline operations within the financial department.
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a mandatory skill, as it will be utilized extensively for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling. Beyond software, candidates must possess strong practical skills in general accounting methodologies, a deep understanding of GAAP principles, and a clear aptitude for applying process improvement techniques to accounting workflows.
