- Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, payroll entries, and other general ledger transactions as a core responsibility of the Accountant.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
- Assist with financial reporting, audit preparation, tax support, and related accounting schedules.
- Maintain accounting records and reconciliations for affiliated entities and investment activities.
- Calculate management fees, interest income, and other investment-related accounting adjustments.
- Support process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives that help the Accountant drive efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in an Accountant or accounting-related role.
- Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Understanding of fund accounting, investment accounting, consolidations, or corporate accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
- Nonprofit accounting experience preferred but not required.
