Our Newest Opportunity:

The Senior Accountant works with the Senior Director of Corporate Accounting, Accounting Manager , and other members of the Finance team, on month-end and year-end close processes, account reconciliations, acquisition research, as well as making adjustments to the general ledger.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Assist with the accounting for Intangible assets, acquisition accounting, capitalized software, accrued expense, accrued liability & other accounts;

Prepare journal entries in accordance with monthly tasks assigned;

Prepare associated reconciliation of accounts and research inconsistencies during month-end close process;

Work with internal and external teams to obtain acquisition agreements and related documents;

Analyze and interpret the details of acquisition agreements;

Provide external auditors with documentation and explanations for annual audit;

Prepare monthly consolidation, intercompany entries and research variances;

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

Ability to work independently and in a team environment;

Excellent judgement and problem solving skills;

Takes initiative to perform research and propose solutions;

Must be self-motivated, disciplined, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.

Education, Training and

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Business with emphasis in Accounting, required;

Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA, preferred;

Minimum three years’ experience in Accounting, required;

Must be highly skilled in use of Microsoft Office;

Financial reporting experience, required;

Basic understanding of GAAP, required;

Experience with Dynamics GP, preferred;

Experience with SEC reporting, strongly preferred.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location.
