Corporate Controller

LHH (Atlanta) is working with a well-known company in the Technology space (Hardware + Software) on a search for a Corporate Controller
.

This is a great opportunity for a strong accounting leader with Technology experience, particularly someone who has worked in an environment that includes both software and physical products/inventory. The role will have broad ownership across the accounting organization and significant exposure to senior leadership.

• Base salary up to $250,000 + bonus

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and consolidation process
• Manage and develop a sizeable accounting team, including both U.S. and international resources
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for external auditors and oversee audit requirements
• Drive improvements to accounting systems, processes, controls, and reporting
• Support M&A activity, including due diligence, integration, purchase accounting, and related accounting considerations
• Partner with leadership on financial reporting and provide visibility into business performance
• Oversee accounting for international operations and entities
• Manage complex accounting matters related to software revenue, inventory, hardware/product costs, and other technical accounting areas
• Help strengthen the overall accounting infrastructure as the organization continues to grow and evolve

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting background preferred
• Proven Controller-level leadership experience, preferably within a PE-backed environment
• Technology industry experience strongly preferred; software experience is important, with combined Hardware + Software experience ideal
• Experience managing sizeable accounting teams, preferably across both domestic and international operations
